ROSALÍA DE CASTRO

On 24th February we celebrated Rosalía de Castro´s Day. At the art classroom we painted her face and we coloured some paper leaves. These leaves are from some typical Galician trees: holly bush, alder tree, birch tree, oak tree, chestnut tree, beech tree, bay tree, walnut tree, maple tree and cork tree. We wrote on them some poems in English from one of her most famous books "New Leaves".
We decorated the main hall of our school with these leaves.
There is an exhibition of some books written by Rosalía de Castro, too.
