LET´S PLAY A GAME !

4th level:

Ready, steady, go!

  1. Two teams: blue team and red team.
  2. Two types of figures: rectangles (words) and squares (pictures).
  3. We can play with the cards:
  • Match the picture with the word.
  • Say the word correctly in English.
  • Classify into categories.
  • Write them in each category: objects, food, transport, clothes, animals.
  • Check the categories.
  • Choose one picture card and spell a word






 

 

 5th level:

  1. Michiko, the language teacher assistant,  had chosen  30 different verbs from the game. The pupils wrote them in infinitive and translated them into Spanish.  

    She rewiewed the differences between Present Simple and Present Continuous.

    They had to write sentences using the chosen verbs in different tenses (Present Simple and Present Continuous) and with different pronouns. We corrected them.

    We  divided  all the pupils in three teams:  Team 1,  Team 2  and Team 3.

    One member of each team said sentences in Present Simple or Present Continuous and  the others had to guess the verb. (Paying attention to the grammar and  the phonics).

    They chose a card with a verb and they had to say a sentence using that verb (P.S. and P.C.) and a given pronoun.  (Paying attention to the grammar and  the phonics).

    They had to say sentences: I use this to....... / I use this in.....

    They had to mime the verb and their mates had to guess it.
