OUR TRAVELLING BOOK

We are going to start a new activity at our English classrooms. We are talking about a Travelling Book. We are going to be in contact with others schools, pupils and teachers from different parts of the world: India, Serbia, Spain (Córdoba and Vigo).
You can have a look at our first work. It has been done by our own pupils. Enjoy it!.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Today we celebrated thanksgiving day at school. 

We learnt a lot of things about this holiday:

• First Thanksgiving: year
• We give thanks for the harvest and our blessings: I´m thankful for.....
• When  we celebrate it
• We eat a lot. Guess what we eat
• First president who declared this national holiday
• Animal pardoned by president
• People who came to the USA
• Sport we watch on Thanksgiving

Then, we made a lot of activities:

Sharing a Thanksgiving tablecloth : colouring, connecting the dots,  looking for some words in a letter soup, playing Tic-Tac-Toe,  writing a thankful list, ... 

 ....and making some thanksgiving crafts.

 We got a lot of Thanksgiving stickers for giving the right answers.

CHILDREN´S RIGHTS INTERNATIONAL DAY

On  20th November, we celebrate the international day of Children´s Rights. We were working a lot about it and at the English and art classroom, too.

GUY FAWKES DAY

On 5th November, we celebrate Guy Fawkes Day:

VINDEL PARCHMENT, A TREASURE IN SEVEN CANTIGAS

We visited the exhibition  "Vindel Parchment" at the Museo del Mar in Vigo with the pupils of 6th.
We have learnt a lot of things about it. It was really very interesting.

 We have been preparing different works at school: pictures, writings, looking for information in newspapers,...
