Halloween is a very popilar festival in the UK and in the USA, too.
Halloween traditions come from the ancient festival and from modern times. They include wearing masks and dressing up as witches, ghosts, monsters, skeletons, bats or cats. Other examples of Halloween traditions are "trick-or- treating" and making pumpkin lanterns.
Many young people celebrate Halloween with Halloween parties. They wear fancy dress and make Halloween decorations and Halloween food ( for example, Halloween pizzas; you make scary faces with the ingredients). They also dance and play Halloween games.
