Welcome to
the academic year 2016-2017
Our first
post in this new blog is about a typical American celebration, Thanksgiving
Day. Thanksgiving Day in the USA is on the fourth Thursday in November.
Traditionally, the holiday was to celebrate and give thanks for the harvest. Nowadays, many people simply celebrate and give thanks for everything that is good in life. For example, good health, good friends and good fortune. Thanksgiving is a time when families meet and have dinner together. The meal usually includes roast turkey, lots of vegetables and a spicy pumpkin pie.

On this
tree, we have joined our hands together to give thanks for so many things we
have got and that not always we give value to.
We hope you
like this new blog and that it could be a mirror to show what we are working on
in our English classes.
From now
on, we will have a link to the previous years‘ blog.
